Driveline noise

So i got a 89 RS, 350, t5, not sure on the gear ratio, i forget. Well at a speed of about 55+ i get a droneing vibration noise. i dont really feel the vibration, just slightly. I have no leaks out the tranny or rear end, i have new u joints, and everything looks ok. i only drive this car 200-300 miles a year. I put new tires on in 2003 and i havent touched them since. But i did take them yesterday to get them balanced since they do sit alot. The tire place said the place that put them on for me originally didnt use the right style weights, (which i didnt want to say that it was my uncles shop, lol) So im hoping that the tires just needed rebalanced, but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Driveline noise

Nevermind, i think i got it, jacked up my rear end and grabbed the wheels at 12 and 6 and worked the wheel, the driver side has some play and i can hear the axle hit the top and bottom of the bearing, so i need to change that. Ill probably just do both of them while im doing it.
