I have a 1985 camaro, with the stock T5 trans.

I swapped in a 75' 350. I bought a great condition ram clutch and I dont have an alignment tool. What part number is the clutch alignment tool.

On ebay I searched for clutch alignment tool 85 camaro and it looks like few different kinds show up. Also since the engine is swapped is the hole in the crank for the tool the same size as the 350?

 

You can rent a universal alignment tool set at a local parts store.

 

Thanks, I have one in the shop. Being we dont service transmissions I have never used it. I figured the splined alignment tools would be better than the cone shape we have. As long as it will work just as well I will use the one I have.

 

Should work fine. I prefer the splined one's myself too but they make the tool for a reason so it should work for ya
