changing to 350 turbo what will i need to do

 

Long tailshaft TH350 so you can use the factory driveshaft. If you use a short tailshaft TH350, you need the longer driveshaft from a 82-83 third gen that came with the 200c 3 speed tranny.

Modified tranny crossmember because the TH350 tranny mount sits 2" forward from the 700R4.

A way to mount the torque arm since the TH350 doesn't have a mount on the transmission like the 700R4 does. An aftermarket torque arm with tranny crossmember solves both problems by mounting the new torque arm onto the crossmember where it should be.

A manifold vacuum source for the modulator valve.

Then there's all the other stuff. Detent cable brackets, speedo drive, shifter cable etc.

 

If you use a short tail th350, I have an extreme duty drive shaft and trans/ torque arm crossmember with low miles from spohn. You will only need the torque arm. Then everything is bolt in. I don't run kickdown cables on th350's, but if you are tpi i have a braided one I can throw in. Just thought I would pass it on and can save ya a few bucks.
