u could hear a low wistling noise comming for like the rear end or around there.. anyone have an idea what this could be??? whats making this sound?? thx

if you look under the car, driverside, just in front of the axle where about where the brake line on the chassis changes to the rubber flex hose to go to the axle, there is a white vent fitting there attached to a bracket ont he frame. It vents/bleeds pressure or vacuum from the tank and makes this noise after you turn the car off aster running it.

if its not that, idk what it would be.

 

thx for the help... but u say it does it after u turn it off??? this one does it while on... seems like after i use it for a while for some reason... and only at idle

 

usually you dont notice it when the car is running

 

then im assuming its something else.. since in my case its the other way around... i could only hear it when its on idle....ima record it and here see if u could help

Yea mine sounded like it was going to rattle its way out the tank. The one in one of my trucks squeeled like a little girl right before it locked up. The last one in my current truck just keep pumping and pumping and never wanted to shut off. Sounds like i have bad luck with fuel pumps, have to think about that for awhile.
