back drivers side tire bald, back passenger side tire not?
I bought this car and only the back drivers side tire is bald. The back passenger side is not. Does this mean that the posi unit is busted or something?

someone burnt the passenger tire up w/ an open or worn-posi diff., and rotated the the tires.

it means you need new tires. Replace them and then monitor the wear pattern. You have no clue if the prior owner just needed a good tire and tossed on the junk. Or, they had a flat that could not be repaired and tossed that on

the teeth of the ring and pinion are already busted so we've gotta rebuild anyway. is there anything we can do to check?
