is there a way to get a 700r4 to shift into O/D at wide open throttle?

But with the 2 different part #, even though 7474 is in both.....Are they different? Different applications? I think there was a 26-spline version & a 28-spline version (or something like that & dunno if it would make any difference for this) Just different manufacturers?

 

Iunno; kind of hard to figure that out for sure... I'm thinkin though....

 

There is a much cheaper way to do this. Two Allen screws and a Allen wrench, about $1.00 for both at the hardware store and you do not have to take off the valve body. Give me your email address and I will send you the instructions. I copy what they do in the Corvettes to get the 3-4 WOT shift. You will be blocking off the 4-3 part throttle passages.

sounds like your converter isnt locking up right.
