Will Posi-Trac Differential work?
Hello, I was looking on Summit and saw this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ETN-19599-010/ and wanted to know if I would fit my 92 firebird?

Yup; except, probably won't work with your gears, because they are probably 2 series, specifically 2.73.
You'll have to put in 3.23 or higher gears with it.

Well since that rear didn't come in that car like that, it's impossible to guess. But there are a few possible combos that it could be.
Only you you'll be able to bolt that carrier into that rear without changing anything else, is if the rear is 90-up and it currently has a 3 series carrier in it, or a 2 series carrier with 3 series gears and a spacer.
If the carrier is original to the rear but has the "special" thick gears, then yes the new Eaton will work with the axles, but not with those gears.
If the rear is original to a 89-back car, then yes the carrier will work but then you'll need new axles, and then to be sure the gears are regular 3 series ones.
Only way to know is to look at what's in it.
