I dont know if you looking for a good shop in your area, but If your in the northern part of WV I would check out Janis Transmissions in Akron Ohio. Vince Janis , the owner is a highly reputable GM tranmission builder. Has built transmissions for various magazine cars as well and is one of the top 3 200R4 builders per Turbo buick. I have had a few 700R4's and 4L60E's built by him with awesome results. Just do a google search on him. I'd give him a call regarding your TH400

If I recall Nelson Racing makes those 1500+ HP daily driver turbo crates. I imagine there probably decent.
I like Probuilt Automatics. Dana builds very very mean 700-R4s. Mine has survived 7000 RPM shifts on the street.
I think he use to build 400s also. I don't know if he does now.
He hand picks parts and surfs this board to answer questions too.
