4th Gen Moser 9" fit????

I am planning on buy my moser 9" rear end in like 2 weeks but someone told me something and before i go with it i wanna ask. I have z06 rims with 2'' adapters right now on my stock thirdgen. Now how i was going to buy the moser 9' for my thirdgen they told me to just buy the 4th gen moser 9" which according to them is identical except that its the 4 inch longer. They said its the same bolt and same mounts so nothing different just a bolt on. Please if you have done this switch so you dont have the huge adapters please let me know. Any one know also if we need anything to be custom for the moser switch or will it bolt right on. Thanks for any info

Yes that will work. You will be just bolting your wheels on without spacers. All mounts are the same.

I had a 4th gen rear w/ c5 vette rims, and i ran 3/8" spacer on each side although i don't think I needed too. you should be fine with the 4th gen width and no spacers
