Help me ID this ring and pinion

OK guys. Thought this would be a quick Google search but I'm turning up nothing so here goes.

Popped the differential cover to change the fluid and I'm trying to ID this ring and pinion to check the size, ratio and see if this is a standard open carrier. The markings stamped on the ring gear read:

GM-14085338-13:42--7-5/8---3-84-1

Be back with the pinion casting in a sec...

Re: Help me ID this ring and pinion

I'm having a hard time making out the pinion, but it looks like it reads:

14085343-13-42-GM

Re: Help me ID this ring and pinion

42 / 13 = 3.2307692307692307692... most of us would call that 3.23.

Can't really see what's inside the carrier since the window is turned away from the camera, but it looks like probably yerbasic stock open diff.
