Hi everybody, i have an 85 Z28 with a 355 and stock drivetrain. Because
I ripped out my 305 for something with a little more umpf, im looking to get rid of my one wheel peel, one tire fire, whatever you want to call it. Im hoping to find a posi spool to fit right into the rear of my car, with little to no modification. Can any of you suggest a year and make of vehicle that could possibly fit right in? Im not looking to replace the whole rear end though, thats the key i guess. Any info would help! Thanks for reading!

 

Unless you use something like a Lock-Right, you'll need to check and possibly re-shim the carrier. Not fun. But these aren't going to be found used.

 

make sure you have a 10 bolt. i thought i did and it ended up being a aussi 9 bolt, and i had to return a ton of parts..
