I dont know if its supposed to be like this, but when I take off from a dead stop, normal acceleration, the car shifts into second gear when I reach 10mph.

The only time I can wind out first gear is if I put it to the floor from a dead stop, then it gets to redline and chirps second (shift kit)

Any ideas? Is it because of the shift kit? Or is this normal?

If you give it more throttle and it shifts later, then that is the way it is supposed to be.
