9-bolt Borg-Warner axle removal?

I got my '88 Iroc-zs' *** in the air, rear differential cover on the ground driver side disc break all torn apart and I have to idea how to take the damn axle out. Its a 1988 Borg-Warner 9 bolt 2.77. All I need to know is how to remove the axle. Whats holding it in? Thank you

There are four bolts on the end of the axle that hold the retainers in. BW have c clip eliminators in them. Once you loosen those bolts your golden.

Yup, take of the caliper and abutment, then the 4 retainer nuts on the "bolts" (more like studs w/ a flat plate on the back), then a couple of whacks w/ a mallet and the axle will come out.
