How can I tell if my transmission is stock.
How would I go about finding if my transmission is stock. Is their a number that I can pull and a website I can decode it at? Is there a brand name on it somewhere, any help at all will be appreciated thank you.

Do you want to know if it's "stock", or do you want to know if it's "original"?

Original I guess. Or just what transmission is in it.

There's a section in the User CP you can fill out:
If it's a T5, grab all information from the metal tag attached to the tailhousing and decal on the top of the trans. (may be possible with a mirror.)
700-R4 tends to have an ID tag rivet-attached with information, as well as some stampings in the case; sometimes on GM transmissions it's above the pan rail.
Post that up.
Transmission
What transmission you have.

Go down to where the guy says I have an electronic speedo housing from the year 90+. This is why I want to know what transmission I have because I think this is wierd. If you is right then I have a cable speedo, and an electronic speedo.
