So lets start by saying that my car is a 84 z28 5.0 HO.
it currently has a t-5 in it but just purchased a t-56 so im trying to do the swap ASAP.
I have read many forums and discussions regarding this swap but the more i read the more i begin to doubt the swap.

The T-56 is from a 97 z28.

So im asking all of you who have info on this, what exactly will I need...

what i was given is the tranny with bellhousing and flywheel
2 shifters.(one short and stock one)
pedals
clutch

i did not receive any wiring or anything so idk if i need any of that or what else i need. only wiring i have are the ones that came in my car so i assume everything will clip up right?

For crossmember i was told to use the t-5 one and modify the wholes for it. is this true? please i need answers.

The first link posted in a reply in your last thread has a "what you'll need" list. It includes a reference to a flywheel for 2pc. seal engines which was also gone over in your last thread by Shadow Z. Your thread title mentions flywheel but you don't ask a question about them.

That site has a picture showing a crossmember bolted in that shows roughly where he T56 trans. mount is located compared to the crossmember bolt holes. The following might be what he meant about modifying the holes, but it's meant for installing a T56 that is both spaced further back (by bellhousing spacer) and running a different tailhousing and mount location:http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com/Borg.../bwt56pics.cfm
