700R4 Lock Up Issue, No Voltage From Brake Switch

Since I've owned the car the converter has never locked up, I recently had the trans rebuilt. When I got the car back they told me the new converter still wont lock and its because theres no power from the Purple line running from the brake switch to the TCC selenoid. But he also said that wiring isnt what they do and I'll have to fix it. How do I fix this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Find out why
Get you test light out and see if you have 12V on one terminal at the brake switch.
and that the switch is adjusted correctly to close and let power through on the other terminal
when pedal is NOT depressed.
See

Not to be confused with the brake light switch which works the opposite way; switch closes when pedal is depressed

Re: 700R4 Lock Up Issue, No Voltage From Brake Switch

Well apparently I do have voltage coming from the switch. Problem is I have 12v going through whether or not the switch is open or closed. I dont have the vacumm line for the cruise control hooked up, does this affect the swithc at all or do I have a bad switch?

So I dont know what its issue was but I just took everything apart and put it back together, the switch started working and now lock-up works perfectly
