will a sticky caliper cause your 700r4 to surge?
My engine surges upon acceleration and while in overdrive, kinda like my torque converter in locking in and out so I wonder if my sticking caliper is causing this?? Let me know thanks guys

You're not applying the brakes when it's surging.

I think the ECM goes by the switch that's under the dash. The same one that turns on the brake lights.

The ECM doesn't have the first clue whether the brakes are on or off.
TCC power is supplied through the switch on the brake pedal. Unless it's the pedal that's sticking, there's no way a brake problem can cause a TCC issue.

The signal to lock and unlock the tcc is an electronic one that's sent when you press the pedal IIRC

There's no "signal". The TCC solenoid is deenergized directly by the brake pedal switch.
