what is the highest ring an pinion ratio (gears) that can be put into the borg warner 9 bolt rear end i was told that 4.10's wont work in the 9 bolt i have 370's setup now but looking to get a better launch when the t56 is getting swapped in in advance

this is great info u sent me ive got one more question i seen a vid of a third gen restore an the guy put a dana rear end outta a c4 corvette im actually grabing a set of 113 heads off a guy with 91 corvette an he is also parting out the whole car what would i have to do to make this rear end work an also is it alot better then the 9 bolt borg warner rear end

Dana 44's are extremely rare and came in firehawks. Go with a 9", 12 bolt or S60.

 

Do they make these rear ends all direct bolt ins not that great at cutting an fabbing body work wish I was but one day I'll learn to master it :-)
