A GM mechanic rebuilt the 700R4 in my Formula which previously had the Transgo SK700 kit in it prior to the rebuild. They put back to stock with rebuilt valve body and does drive very well. But at full throttle it stays in first gear until you let off the pedal. It was at 6k and still didn't shift. I was wondering if they didn't replace the governor spring with a new stock spring. It shifts nice as they did do the Transgo Jr kit while doing the rebuild.

Also I did put in manual first gear and got the rpm up to 2500 and put it into 2nd gear and it still stayed in 1st gear even when I let off the pedal. Thoughts.

 

Is TV cable adjusted properly?
