Shifting way too soon... sometimes...

Sometimes transmission will shift into 3rd between 5 and 10 mph. I have to let off the gas then step on it to get it back to 2nd (or manually shift it). It only happens when the engine is at operating temp. Some days it does it a few times in a row (stop light after stop light) and other days only once, if ever. It shifts so fast it's like 1st.......2nd3rd.

I've adjusted the T.V. cable and that didn't make any difference. No codes come up either.

I've spent literally hours searching for this problem but have only found the opposite... "Shifting too late".

Anything will help, Thanks

Oh yeah, lesson learned... don't try to fix your EGR valve, just buy a new one.
