Now WHAT!?! input seal leaking// noise from converter

ok so for those who have followed me you know that i just replaced the flex plate and all went well. for a day... now my front input seal is leaking like a siv and its making a noise that sounds like an exhaust leak. i thought thats what it was when it first starting making the noise and it is RPM sensitive. is there a bearing in there that can be replace? or is it my pump? can i catch a break i hate taking the trans off this car going on 4 times in a 12 month time frame.

similiar problem? man if it was just the seal leaking i would be fine with pulling the trans down again but since its making that terrible sound i dont want to pull it to replace the seal put it back and have to pull it because whatever is making that noise goes out.

everything but the noise. Thought I had a blown seal. Pulled the trans, replaced the seal and it still poured out. I have a thread on it.

I just had the pump bushing replaced and I replaced the flexplate. I will be putting the transmission back in thursday evening. Going to cross my fingers.

What kind of converter are you running?

slide hammer or a seal puller is all that is needed for the seal. Heck a screwdriver would work.

As far as the bushing, I had a guy replace mine. I was told he had to remove the valve body to get the pump out. $50 is all it cost me.
