Hey guys. I have an 86 Z-28 with the 700R4. A few years ago I replaced the 700 with a Raptor Junior level 2 from "700raptor.com". A little while back it stopped shifting into 4th gear. All of the other shifts are normal. I thought it might be the valve body so I replaced it with a TCI constant pressure valve body. When that didnt fix the problem i switched in a new stock valve body. Still wont shift into 4th gear. I have a B&M Mega Shifter up top but I don't think thats the problem. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? Thanks for your help guys.

 

I'll take a semi-educated stab and say; investigate your throttle valve. They're known to stick in earlier models, which in some cases can cause no shifting. Also, the TV is supposed to keep the trans from shifting to 4th at or near WOT(unless it's a 'vette TV). So either the cable ain't adjusted right or the TV itself is bad.

Thanks for the response. I'll check both of those. It doesnt have the vette servo. It has a billet servo that is supposed to hold 35% stronger than the corvette servo. IDK. I will check into the TV Cable and the Valve for sticking though. Thanks.
