I've been searching around but I can't find an answer. In a sleep deprived stupor I bought a 3.4l T5 torque arm mount on ebay. I need a manual mount for my WC T5, will this bolt right up? I need to get the car back together ASAP, so....should I keep shopping instead of waiting for it to show up? Thanks!

 

Anyone try this before? I also forgot to look what way my torque arm faces before ordering...

late third gen tq. arm mounts interchange with fourth gen tq. arm mounts.

You should be fine; 89 and 4th gen are "W" cut whereas the early third gen had "M" bushings.

 

That's good to hear! That 85 mount has the same cut as the 4th gen T5 mount I bought, but then again who knows if it was changed at some point. This is just a temporary setup until I save my pennies for the Spohn setup

 

The 4th gen V6 T5 torque arm mount bolted right up to my 1992 V8 T5 Just thought I'd let others know if they are looking for one.
