This one should be simple. I'm rebuilding my NON-WC T-5. I'm looking for a decent rebuild kit WITH synchro rings AND Timken bearings (don't want cheapo Chinese bearings!). At a decent price, if possible. Anyone know of any place I can find such a thing? I had a kit when I rebuilt the first one that I bought off of a guy on eBay that was such an animal, but those parts ended up going to the junkyard inside the junk trans case (guy who ran the J/Y pulled the trans for me and the case ended up damaged in such a way it wouldn't hold ATF)

The Gear Box (.org) offers very good service to the DIY builder.
Yep... I've looked at their eBay auctions, and they want $25 just for a pair of bronze shift fork pads (which I also need... Finally figured out why 5th gear would take so much effort to engage). I think they're also the ones charging over $200 for the rebuild kits. I was looking for a little cheaper... I know I'm not going to find the deal I did the first time around, but still. Also wondering if the input bearing retainer/support is the same on our T-5 as for the Rustang.
