What did i break?

Its my second year owning my 1988 trans am i have come across a problem after searching everything i could think of on this site trying to find what it could be. I think its the rearend but hey im young that means im probably wrong. Now to describe the problem, i'll be taking a left turn and lets say i get on the throttle a "little" hard the right rear feels like its moving in and out or to the left and right however i put it up on stands and find nothing obvious. To put it best it feels loose. Its powered by a 305 tbi connected to an automatic 4 speed overdrive so i dont think it has the power to break a mount, but what the hell do i know. The only mods are rims and a stereo, the tires are large p245/50r's all the way around on 18in Teron's by american racing. I really need help on this one guys so please anyone with help?

Re: What did i break?

Hey jc
lay under the car(behind the rearend) and have a buddy push on the quarter panel back and forth (side to side) and watch the panhard bar bushings. the panhard bar bolts from the rearend to the body.
