hey i am upgrading my stage 3 maddog transmission 700r4 to a th350 out of a '70 chevelle. I am getting the valve body reprogramming kit HP3206 and the heat treated outer sprag race that you would use with an OEM-replacement intermediate sprag HP3289

i have two questions
1) do i still need to do the dual feed mod with the valve reprogramming kit?

2) ive been recommended master overhaul rebuild kit HP3288 that i can get for $231.26 but is there any other kit that will work in the 150ish range? ive seen a B&M kit # 21042

The transmission is completely stock right now in working condition. i am looking to beef it up some to hand about 500whp for right now
