1988 IROC trans/torque arm
1988 IROC trans/torque arm
Hello, i am buying a 1988 IROC that currently does not have a trans or a torque arm. BUT, i have a 700r4 out of a 2x4 pickup, will that tail cone work with a factory torque arm? any suggestions?

It lacks the torque arm provision.
An f-body tail will swap right on.

Well, there is a torque arm bracket w/ nuts and bolts, the bushing in it, you need a T5/700-R4 crossmember, the torque arm and it's hardware to bolt to the rear diff... so you're probably better off finding someone or a salvage yard parting out a complete car. That way, you can pick up the little bits and pieces that would take a lot longer to get individually.
