4th gen rear

I'm going to be picking up my new rear end this weekend, out of either a 96 or 97 z28, and I can't get a straight answer. So would I be able to use the wheels I have now on the new rear end?

They will stick out sorta far, but yeah.
What size are they? I know for a fact that old 14" Torq Thrusts (1967 originals) won't clear the disc brake calipers.

I'd also like to point out that a quick search would answer your question.

Re: 4th gen rear

They're 15x8 centerlines, are the 4th gen lug patterns the the same?

I tried the quick search and all I could really find were the differences between the 2 and the installation

Re: 4th gen rear

4th gen lugs patterns are all the same. In fact, I would see what ratio you are going from, and to. My guess is you are putting a 2.73 rear end in there from the 4th gen.

Re: 4th gen rear

I have 2.73s right now I would like to keep the same ratio since I do alot of freeway driving, but I'm willing to take just about any gear ratio at the moment
