Driveshaft question?
After searching for driveline lengths I found that 3rd & 4th gen shafts should be 41.5" from center to center of u-joint.
I have found a alum shaft that is 40 & 7/8" in length (one piece) but it has a dampner on the slip yoke. The dampner is about 1" in width. It is currently in a '94 V6 car. Would this shaft work w/700R4, or would the difference in length cause vibrations due a slightly different pinion angle?
The driveshaft is going for $30 so it is a good deal if I can use it.
Any input would be helpful and Thanks.

Re: Driveshaft question?
from my experience, 3rd gen shafts are 41.5 center to center and the 4th gen shafts are 40.5. both will work just fine though. I think all 4th gen shafts have the damper.
30 bux is a great deal

86TA, Thank you very much! When the guy said $30 you could have pushed me over with a feather.
