I'm sorry but this is a none Camaro question. My Mom has a 96 GMC Jimmy and the 4L60E tranns is stuck in reverse. I thought it was in the park safety switch mechanism so I disconnected the rod at the shifter ( Column shift) that wasn't it still stuck. I disconnected the cable from the trans and now the shifter moves free but the lever on the trans is stuck I tried to pry on the lever going into the trans it but it won't budge. Any ideas ...... The trans works and shifts fine it's just stuck.
