O.K. guys I have my 4th gen rearend in and I was told by the forum member I got the rearend from that third gen brakes would bolt up. I went to put my backing plates on from the 9 bolt and there not even close. The bolt holes don't lign up at all. What do I need to do? I need to get the car back on the road A.S.A.P. Any help woud be much appreciated.

 

The 9-bolt brakes won't just "drop on" a 10-bolt or vice versa. You'll hafta drill out the holes for the backing plate to fit, or find some 10-bolt brakes.
