im getting a 4l60e for $300 and eventrually ill be swapping in a 5.3L but for now i wanna use the tranny as mine is going out. What all is needed to make it work with my factory L98? I know ill need a new transmission crossmember. I hear there is a part that replaced the electronics with the TV cable? I dont want the 1200$ harness LOL just a easy swap for a little bit while I build the motor and yes i used search but cant find anything

 

No; no such part. Whatever you heard, either you misunderstood, or it was just plain wrong.

Only way to use it is with some kind of electronic controller.
