Tranny line not wanting to tighten up
Ever since iv done my engine swap on my car, I can't get one of my lines on my tranny to tighten up, it threads in but it always starts to leak again slowly, what can I do to stop this? I'm tired of dumping fluid on my garage floor and everywhere I go and putting more in it

Re: Tranny line not wanting to tighten up
The flares on the hard lines are only good for so many tightening cycles before they don't seal properly anymore. If it doesn't seal, you can cut it and reflare it, or replace the line.

You can try teflon tape on the threads. May slow it down or even stop it. Worth a shot before going a more difficult route.
