TV Cable / line pressure question

TV Cable / line pressure question

Ok, now I've got that outta my system lets talk trannys ... I just rebuilt my 700r4 and stuck a 2400 stall in it... The TV cable I bought seems to be about an inch short AND it doesnt have a D-button, only an adjuster on the cable itself.
now, I've got the cable adjusted pretty close but it is still off... NOW, my question... How is line pressure effected when adjusting and does higher line pressure make the gear hold longer or vise versa? Thanks yo!
