Im lookin to buy a crossmember for 4L80E that im putting behind a sbc i have everything like the manual control everything else associated with the swap except for the crossmember from what i understand bmr made one but i cant find it on their website does anybody know where i can buy one i need one soon and my welding skills are horrible so making one is out if the question and yes i already searched and only came up with the info i just stated any helpful info would be greatly appreciated

 

BMR are the only ones I have heard of that make one. Last I heard some members were having trouble getting it to fit though, maybe they discontinued it.

 

the one i got from bmr wasnt even close to fitting. to make things worse they never offered a refund,explanation or even resolved the issue as far as i know. they will never get another penny from me.

 

Funny, the BMR cross member I purchased for my th400 swap did not fit close to well at all either. I had to modify it to work.

 

i am looking at the 4l80e crossmember from bmr. i couldnt find it and called. the guy thought they may be reworking it. he said he thought the mold somehow changed and it was not fitting properly in cars.

going to call back monday and see if i can get any more info on it.
