t5 transmission question
hey i have the chance to buy a t5 transmission out of a 1985 camaro with 80xxx on it and i was wandering if that is worth buying any help appreciated

It'll be the 1st design, if it came in the car.
If it's a 6-cyl one, it won't fit your car.
Beyond that, it boils down to what condition is it in (has it been owned by somebody that just jammed it into reverse without putting it into a forward gear first, for example, and how bad stretched across the front it is which you can tell by how much the front countergear bearing leaks); how bad you want it; what all comes with it; and how much you can get it for.
I personally would not buy it. I'm done with T-5s. T-56s are too plentiful now to be messing around with something as fragile and troublesome as a T-5. But that's just me, others may feel quite differently, including yourself.
