theres a place called transmission world. They have all the parts to adjust it. Most likely you will have to buy the sensor for the 6 speed that plugs into your car. Youll have to google it i dont know the web address.Call them they will tell you what you need.

Re: 700R4 to T56 swap speedo question

The digital dash speedometer and the round gauge speedometer are both electronically driven from a VSS signal. So your question is the same as in this thread:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...o-trouble.html

in which I linked to the T56 swap sticky thread. Read through that; it's worth it.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it by the way any tips on the reverse lights when swapping? Im guessing I can just take a manual reverse switch out of a third gen with a T-5 right?

Re: 700R4 to T56 swap speedo question

You can buy whatever pictails you need from www.tpiparts.net. That's where I got my parts from. As for the speedo, I am also running a Dakota Digital SGI-5C box, but I'm having some interference issues in that sometimes when I'm not moving, the speedo will jump to 50mph and go crazy. I'm going to try adding in a noise filter and getting the ground shorter.

Re: 700R4 to T56 swap speedo question

find a pigtail to fit the reverse light switch in the trans.
find the wires under the dash/ shifter area (I think on the third gen, they go to the shifter.)
Connect them.
