What kind of shifter is everyone running? Ive read about the dual gate and the Megashifter, But has anyone tried the quicksilver and (made it fit)? Ive even heard tale of someone using a Hurst promatic 2 three speed shifter and making it work for the 700r-4. If anyone has any pics of their shifters please post. Im looking for ideas and want something different.

 

gotta megashifter in mine because the kit makes it look factory. works good. you can also buy a different **** with a button for line locks, nitro, etc....

If its a three speed shifter it will work in your car. You just wont be able to manually put it in 1st gear. 2nd is as low as it will allow you to go. Keep in mind that most service manuals say to shift your trans in every gear before checking trans fluid level. Could mess up the reading on your dipstick?

 

Stock shifter is just fine with me.

Hurst Dual Gate here.... I have a Pro Stick in the garage with a thirdgen plate.... Not sure if it was on a 700R4 but for sure was third gen Camaro.

 

this is the best pic of my B&M shifter, i'll try and get a better one but i love this thing. Its funny when i drive with my non-mechanically inclined friends they think my car is a manual.

so noone has the quickilver shifter installed??? i have this shifter sitting in my room and was hoping to see how other people have made it fit before i attempt it.
