No More Posi Action

Just curious if anyone else on here has experienced the clutches wearing out in their 9 bolt differential? I need to rebuild it or if anyone has any other ideas and/or concepts of other rear ends to swap with, I am up for suggestions. I can't do the 1 wheel peel.

Re: No More Posi Action

I might be interested. I have never built one of these diffs before but it should be similar to the 10 bolt I am guessing. What are you asking and is there anything else I would need? The rear is not whining and no leaks or anything.

If there are no other issues, you should be alright with the cones. If possible, you should pull the rear apart before getting the new cones, just to be sure the carrier is alright. I can give you both cones for 75.00 shipped

Re: No More Posi Action

Those are used factory cones. You can buy new ones, but you'll ahve to have machine work done to either the cones or the carrier to accomodate them. Those used factory ones are a good deal if they're not worn.

You got any pictures of them in the carrier to show how far they are from bottoming out?
