T56 swap pedal question

I am doing a t56 swap to my 91 and i have a set of t5 pedals from a thirdgen and a set of clutch pedals from a v6 t5 forthgen. So my question is after reading about this swap it seems people prefer the forthgen pedals more often then the third but i want to know if the forth gen pedals i have will work i wuld imagine they are the same pedals as a forth gen v8 t56 car but i wasnt sure if anyone knew of this for sure??? Any help would be greatly aprechiated

Re: T56 swap pedal question

afaik, all 4th gen pedals are basically the same. you have to cut the gas pedal off them, and in my experience, the upper support bolt location that bolts up under the dash does not line up with the 3rd gen mount hole.

Re: T56 swap pedal question

I installed them for my t-56 swap. I just needed to widen the top bolt hole to get it to fit, as well as drill out the two lower holes where the brake booster passes through, as they were a little too small. Other than that, they fit no problem. My car isn't on the the road yet though, so i haven't had a chance to try them out. I kept the original gas pedal.

She should at least be a roller soon

Re: T56 swap pedal question

This is what I did to my original T5 pedal to make it work with T56 hydraulics.
