I have the factory 10 bolt drum brakes rear end in my car now I've recently acquired a 1990 model 10 bolt rear end with the disc brakes out of an IROC. My car is an 85 model. Has anyone done a well documented swap? If not what all will this entail (parts, prices, link to information and photos) . I have searched but haven't found what I am looking for.

Direct swap. You'll need the first-design 1LE combination valve, first-design parking brake cables and the correct drive and/or driven gears if the rear ratio is different than the original. Check the the 10-Bolt FAQ sticky for more info.

These " first design" parts come off of which year and model. Are there aftermarket companies making them and what about brake lines?
