Governor Gear matching rear gear?

Transmission: TH350
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Detroit locker
Governor Gear matching rear gear?
I have a trans from a 91 firebird transplated into a 1989 camaro body. Did not change the rear ends to match. I have the v6 rear end still, could there be a mis match with the governor gear causing my transmission to shift to soon at WOT?
Rear gear is a 3.27 or 3.23 I believe. Any help will be appreciated

ALL governors use the same gear. Changing the WOT shift points is done with weights and springs, not governor gears.
