t56 grinding in and out of third
I have a t56 from a 93 camaro in my 89gta. Transmission had no visible issues. I replaced the bearings and put bronze pads on the shift forks. I'm using synthetic atf.
It grinds going into and out of 3rd gear like there is no syncro. All the rest are perfect. My gut is to replace the syncro for that gear but before I tear it down again is there something I could be overlooking?

how are the teeth on the synchro slider and the corresponding ones on the gear?

I bought a kit so most likely, came with seals and all that stuff. I'll have to tear it down to inspect. If it warms up next weekend i'll do it and post a bunch of pics.
