Hey everyone, I am trying to figure out where is the best place to install the sender for a trans temp gauge. I want to most acurate reading.

I am in the procces of gathering up money to rebuild my 700r4 and I would like to be able to monitor what is going on in their.
I am planning to go with.a modded kit from Dana@ pro built auto. Unless I find a killer deal on a t-56 swap.
Also what gauges do you guys like the best?
Where did you mount the gauges too? I want it to look nice and cheaply thrown together. Also I will be looking for a wideband gauge too.

I have mine in the middle of the pan on the passenger side. I prefer digital gauges just so there is no confusion when taking a quick glance at it. My tranny temp gauge is a Nordskog (sp?) Mounted in an A-pillar gauge pod.
