Rear End Swap Issues...Video of Problem Included for Free!!!
Hey guys,
I'm having issues getting these bolts out. I've hammered away and tried backing them out with a ratchet, but nothing's helping.
The arms to these things were hacked off by the guy who sold me the rear end. That's why I'm trying to remove them. I'm swapping to aluminum caliper, disc rear end.
Check out the video and let me know if you got any ideas!

If they will turn with a ratchet then make sure to put pressure on the back side to help push them out while turning. The one that has no end sticking out on the nut side try a punch while turning. If all alse fails you could always grind off both sides flush and center punch and carefully drill out some then try to get them to pop out with the remainder of the arms.
Another effort would be more last try would be a sawzall cutting the bolt just inside the brackets. One other option would be to use a torch and just cut the old arms out but must be careful not to cut the rear mounting brackets. With the torch method remember that the burning rubber is very, very, very bad to be breathing. This is if all else fails.
I have had help and used an air punch to help while turning. Something will do it but must be careful.
I have had to try all of these methods on a car I was working on once (my own).
