T5 speedo gear question

How far off would the speedometer be with a drive and driven gear combo of7/19 for 3.45 be with 3.27 rear gears? I've been told that each tooth on the driven gear over is worth about 2-3 mph.

Re: T5 speedo gear question

It will be about 3.45/3.27 - 1 off... about 5.5% high. At that rate, it will be about 1 mph high at 18 mph actual (will read 19 when going 18), 2 mph high at about 36 mph, 3 mph high at about 54 mph, 4 mph high at 72 mph, etc.
