i just got a 92 rs and the clutch is out. so im going to swap it out for a auto 700r4 with a shift kit and upgraded internals , but i have no clue what i need i tried googling it and nothing all auto to manual. anyone help me out?

 

i swapped my '82 from manual to auto about 19yrs ago
needed:
-automatic shifter and cable
-auto tranny flexplate
-cooler and lines(my radiator didn't have cooler,so made
up an air-cooled setup.
swap was pretty easy and as far as i remember reused
the manual tranny(super T-10)x-member.Manual
driveshaft fit in my case.
My car had a clutch pedal for years after the swap,but
you could get wider brake pedal from automatic car
if desired
A'92 with a T5 will likely be different,but this will give
you some ideas.

you need a nuetral safety switch and harness, the wiring for the lockup torque converter, and if its a fuel injected car, you'll need a PROM for an automatic.
Why don't you just change the clutch? It would be a hell of alot easier.
