how to remove driveshaft from u joint?

how to remove driveshaft from u joint?

i undid the u joint straps and removed the torque arm how do i go about pulling the drive shaft out smack it with a rubber mallet???

Put a screwdriver behind it and pry

wanted to make sure i didnt have to lower tranny a bit to pop it free or something

good to know just gotta get more force

Yes, but make sure that screwdriver is as big as a pry bar.
