Possible less harsh IROC ride?

2 schools of thought on handling I've found.

A) GM's Herb Adams thicker sway bars and softer springs, or,

B) Dick Guldstrand's no sway bars and very stiff springs.

Any of you pros ever change out IROC springs for sport coupe springs, but keep the sway bars and IROC steering box for a slight improvement in tar-strip harshness?

Thanks

Forget those. Leave the springs and bars alone, get new shocks and struts, then pick some tires with taller sidewalls.

You could go with RS springs, softer shocks/struts along with taller sidewall tires (which may affect your speedo reading & tranny if Automatic) but I'd start by asking a Moderator to move your Post to the Suspension / Chassis section instead of it being in the Transmissions and Drivetrain where it is now.

Re: Possible less harsh IROC ride?

You're right. Wrong section. Also just purchased chromed 16x8 repro IROCS and added 245/50 16's. So much for my taller sidewall. oops. Mr. Moderator, could you move this post to suspension/Chassis section? Thanks.
