looks like nobody is gunna reply, so i came up with an idea... take the shifter out, and put ur transmission all the way in the tunnel where it's gunna mount up, mark it off with a sharpie, cut it out, and pass the measurements on... good idea?

Or just measure from the front of the trans to the middle of the shifter and then measure under the car from the back of the engine to the same measurement you got off the trans and know that that is your center of where the shifter goes up.

Thats exactly what I did. You'll still have to trim a little after that, but its a very good starting point. I'd measure mine, but my trans is out of a 03 Cobra and sits tilted in the car. So mine is probably not the same as an F-body trans.

I would, but i do not have my hands on a transmission yet. as of right now, i'm just fabbing things up, fixing to start on my dash swap soon and was really wanting to have everything mocked up before i get finished
